Ahaha~ in Japanese, the romaji are never used. Foreigner usually use romaji to start learning and thus the concept of particle is harder to grasp. Konnichi itself is ‘Today’ , Konnichi wa is How about today ? and particle wa is always written as hiragana HA. Have you finished learning all hiragana ? I encourage you to learn about particles next so you will be less confused 😉 Happy learning!

In KONNICHIWA it seems like it has never been “HA” even before combining into one word so it is still not clear why we read “WA” but have to write “HA”. I got actually more confused after reading this explanation :))
