Differentiate Japanese Verbs 入れる Ireru and 入る Hairu

Today’s topic is quite challenging since the differences are subtle. To help you memorize these two words meaning, read and analyze a lot of sample sentence until you can easily distinguish them.

And there is also the irregularity with ‘hairu’ which sometimes read as ‘iru’ in some sentence/phrase. It was said that the original reading was ‘iru’ but then evolved into ‘hairu’. But somehow the ‘iru’ reading still survive in some cases and thus create the irregularity.

  • I know this is a mini lesson, but nothing was truly explained. There aren't even any examples to illustrate the differences in regards to "enter vs. insert".
